We are offering a special on the Upper Salt River for guests to run the two day trip in one day! It will be offered on March 29th and April 5st. Launch time is 8:30am and take out is 6:00pm. Price is $170 for adults and children's prices receive 10% off.

The historic Durango and Silverton Railroad, which traverses the rugged terrain between the two cities, is an essential element of any trip to the Southwest. Once used for the transport of precious metals from the mines of the area, it is now a prime attraction for nearly all visitors. Ride the train through the Animas Gorge past waterfalls, wildlife and the roaring Animas River, forcing its way down through the canyon and the heart of the San Juan Wilderness. With the price of a ticket you are also given admission into the D&SNGR Museum in the Durango Yard as well as the Silverton Freight Yard Museum. The train has been in continuous operation for over 123 years, still offering the chance to ride a vintage locomotive and experience your fill of railroad memorabilia. Travel the paths originally negotiated by miners, cowboys and the adventurers of the past. Great for kids, as well as history and scenery enthusiasts.
