The day prior or after you've enjoyed out popular Jeep/Train package,
explore Durango's sampler 1/2 day raft trip on the Lower Animas
River- Great for ages 4-84. With Class I "moving water",
a few Class II "splashes" and one or more "wet and
fun" Class III rapids (depending on water level), you will
be treated to a different view of Durango, while learning the fascinating
history of the area. Dont miss the highlight of your vacation!

Depart from Railroad parking lot. Our driver will treat you to the scenic Million Dollar Skyway (rated one of the most scenic drives in the US) as we pass through beautiful summits and mountain passes! You'll be glad you are not driving so you can see the views! |

Arrive in Silverton. Meet Jeep Tour guide at the Shady Lady Restaurant on Blair Street. Blair Street was the notorious "red-light" district in the late 1800's (still a dirt road!). Board our custom open-air tour vehicle and head out on the rugged mining roads above Silverton. Discover cascading waterfalls, tumbling creeks, Colorado's infamous wildflowers and picturesque scenery. Explore Colorado's most preserved ghost town as you learn the history of the area and stories and local traditions of the times past. We will reach about 13,000 feet and maybe even have a snowball fight! |

Cost of trip is $208.95 adults and $166.95 youth (11 and under), which includes the land/access fee. Cost prior to the 5% fee is $199 for adults and $159 youth.
