Day One

Assemble at Placerville City Park. Meet guides, load dry bags and shuttle short distance to put-in.

Receive safety orientation and paddling instruction.

Begin boating on the continuous class II, fast flowing San Miguel River with a gradient of 65 feet per mile.

Unwind from the challenge of the "Three Sisters" (class III) and "Sawpit" Rapids (class III) with more continuous class II rapids.

Enjoy fresh selection of deli meats and cheeses as you build your own monstrous sandwich with all the fixings you can imagine.

More continues class II rapids as the river races along, descending at 40 feet per mile. This non-stop action with constant paddling and splashes leaves you prepared for camp.
